Walkways
Out with the old, in with the new — a safer, longer-lasting, refreshed look.
A cracked, heaving front walkway is the first thing guests see and the last thing you want to think about. We replace them start to finish — the old path demoed and hauled away, the new one built on a proper base in pavers or poured concrete, whichever fits your home and budget.
It is some of our favorite work to post. In Glassboro we tore out a failing paver walkway and replaced it with a poured concrete path and a new three-step entrance; in Runnemede we swapped a worn front walk for a clean, safe approach to the front door.
What's Included
- Paver or poured-concrete walkway options
- Demo and haul-away of the old walkway
- Steps and entrance replacement
- Compacted base with proper pitch for drainage
- Clean edges and tie-ins to existing porches, stoops, and drives
- Full site cleanup when we leave
The Process
No mystery, no runaround — here's exactly what happens between your call and the cleanup.
- 01
Assess the old path
We look at what failed — settling, roots, a bad base — so the new walkway does not repeat it, then price the job as a free estimate.
- 02
Demo and haul away
The old walkway comes out and leaves on our trailer the day it is broken up.
- 03
Base and forms
A compacted stone base pitched for drainage — forms set for concrete, screeded bedding for pavers.
- 04
Install
Concrete poured and finished, or pavers set and cut — steps and entrances rebuilt right along with it.
- 05
Walk-through
We clean it off, walk it with you, and haul off every scrap of debris.
